Off The Hook Blues Band
Off The Hook (formerly known as BCYZ Blues Band), is a Montreal based blues quartet that focuses on recreating and celebrating 100 years of the Blues in song – from the deep south to the wind city of Chicago.
In the past, members of Off The Hook have performed in Quebec and Ontario, with many renowned names on the Quebec blues scene. In the late 1990s, Bernie and Jean-Sébastien were part of High Temperature, Rick Weston’s back-up band, crisscrossing the province making rave festival and cabaret performances while Mike was cutting his teeth as a guitarist, recording and performing with The Blues Express and Bluemud. Francis, the newest member to the line-up comes prepared to swing and shuffle, injecting the Blues with his jazz drumming style.
